Why College Students Prefer Typing Over Speech Input: The Dual Perspective

On the basis of innovation resistance theory (IRT) and technology acceptance model (TAM), this study explores preference college students for keyboard typing over speech input document processing. Results showed that functional barriers (i.e., usage, value, risk barriers) psychological tradition image positively affect users’ to change.
